Langkawi Black Bee Farm : Kami "Panggei Madu Kelulut" !

Says singgah sebentar ke Langkawi Black Bee Farm yang terletak di Sungai Itau  (Berhampiran simpang masuk ke Air Terjun Durian  Perangin) untuk melihat sendiri bagaimana ternakan tersebut diusahakan. Khabarnya madu kelulut ini sangat bagus dan sesuai untuk mengubati pelbagai jenis penyakit seperti batuk, lelah, kencing manis dan lain-lain lagi. Ada juga cerita yang saya dengar kononnya madu kelulut ini boleh mengubati pesakit yang saluran jantungnya tersumbat. Entah betul atau tidak, wallahualam. Tetapi tidak salah sekiranya kita berusaha dan mengamalkannya. 

Apa-apa pun, hari ini saya berpeluang mencuba sendiri madu tersebut dengan menghirup terus dari sarang kelulut dan saya akui rasanya memang sedap !

Rahmat Selepas Hujan : Air Terjun Temurun Langkawi.

Hujan lebat yang melanda Pulau Langkawi semenjak dua tiga hari yang lalu sedikit sebanyak telah memulihkan suasana kawasan air terjun seperti Temurun, Lubuk Semilang, Telaga Tujuh dan juga Durian Perangin yang selama ini jarang dikunjung orang kerana keadaannya yang kering kontang. Tak sangka, disebalik rungutan warga nelayan yang tidak dapat turun ke laut oleh kerana ribut, rupa-rupanya ada rahmat lain yang tersembunyi untuk bumi Langkawi. Sektor pelancungannya nampak agak baik dan seperti sudah pulih seperti sedia kala.

Alhamdulillah.Suasana pagi tadi betul-betul meriah di Air Terjun Temurun yang mula dipenuhi pengunjung.

Hiroshima 70th Anniversary : Gone But Not Forgotten !

 

 

 

70 years ago - 6th August 1945... around 8:15 a.m. Japan time, the B-29 Superfortress bomber "Enola Gay" from SQ 509 dropped the world's first 4,400 kilogram atomic bomb known as "Little Boy" above Hiroshima. About 80,000 people were killed immediately and 88,000 more people would die later from radiation. Although all those 168,000 lives are long gone, they are not forgotten!
